Peg Whisky win Bronze at World Whiskies Awards

One of our favourite independent bottlers Peg Whisky has been awarded a Bronze award for their Small Batch Exclusive Series 1 in the Blended Limited Release category by the World Whiskies Awards.

The World Whiskies Awards is a global awards ceremony held once a year to find the very best in all the international recognised styles. Winning the Bronze medal for one of their inaugural releases is a great milestone for Peg, a small independent bottler run by two passionate whisky lovers.

Peg’s Small Batch Exclusive Series 1 is bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered. This blended scotch is limited to 3,000 bottles. It is a most enjoyable, easy-drinking whisky; sweet with hints of vanilla, malt and gentle floral notes. You can read our review of Peg’s Small Batch Exclusive Series 1 here.

Mandeep Singh, co-founder of Peg Whisky, said: "It has been a fantastic few months for us, especially since we have been trading from last September during the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe our whiskies are great products which can be enjoyed at all levels, whether you’re a novice, or a whisky connoisseur. The feedback we have received from all of our fans and customers about our whisky ranges has been phenomenal and we are proud to receive a Bronze award for The Small Batch Exclusive Series 1 in the category of 'Blended Limited Release' by the World Whiskies Awards.”

You can find out more about Peg Whisky here, and if you’d like to try this award winning whisky then you can pick up a bottle of the Small Batch Exclusive Series 1 here for £45.
