This Clynelish 8 Year Old from Gleann Mór Spirits joins the Rare Find range as a youthful and vibrant Highland single malt, combining the distillery’s famously textured spirit with the restrained influence of a refill sherry hogshead.

Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2026, this single cask release was fully matured in cask #312824. The use of refill sherry oak is particularly well suited to Clynelish, bringing gentle layers of dried fruit, sweetness and spice without overwhelming the distinctive character of the spirit.

Produced at Clynelish Distillery, the whisky is particularly prized for its waxy, textured style. At eight years old, this expression retains plenty of youthful energy, while its full maturation in sherry wood introduces a richer fruit profile and rounds out the spirit without masking its underlying character.

The nose opens on an indulgent combination of Victoria sponge and thick buttercream, accompanied by a bright compote of red and dark berries. Bourbon biscuits add malty chocolate notes, while burnt toffee brings a darker caramelised sweetness underneath the fruit.
