Oxhead Whisky Company is an independent bottler founded in 2019. Drawing on Scotland for their whiskies, they're actually based in Singapore and China. So far, they have introduced two ranges of whisky.
The first is their Classic Casks range. This was created in response to popular demand from the many up-and-coming connoisseurs in their market. It focuses on single casks that showcase classic whisky (and wood) styles. Here, Oxhead focus on traditional casks and use wood-finishes sparingly. With the Classic Casks, they want to let the spirit take centre-stage instead.
The second range is their Dram-Addicts label. True to its name, this collection is for people who take their drinking really seriously – people just like the founders of Oxhead. Featuring hard-to-find and prestigious casks, there will be no shortage of dramatics *excuse me* from these heavy hitters.
All Oxhead's whiskies are natural colour and non chill filtered. They keep everything at cask strength, unless the starting ABV is way north of 60%.
