Nose: A glass of scotch whisky on the banks of a tropical river.
Palate: Monsoon rain, downpours of burnt water. Vanilla, tropical fruit and lavender.
Finish: Rich with cocoa and dried fruit.
About this Samaroli release
Samaroli 2002 Demerara Edition 2021 is a molasses rum selected by Silvano Samaroli, the famous Italian bottler. This Demerara rum was distilled in 2002 in Guyana, at one of the country's leading distilleries. Internationally renowned, Demerara Distillers produces premium rums with distinct and inimitable styles. This particular single cask was brought back to Scotland to be aged in a temperate oceanic climate. 19 years later, it was bottled in 2021 producing a total of 423 bottles.
