About this North Star whisky
North Star Spirits released this bold 12-year-old single malt from Ben Nevis, selected by founder Ian Croucher. Distilled in November 2012 and bottled in February 2025, this Highland whisky was matured in an oloroso hogshead, bringing rich layers of dark fruit, roasted nuts, and a touch of spice to Ben Nevis’s robust and slightly waxy character. Bottled at cask strength (58.6%) with natural colour and no chill filtration, the cask yielded 282 bottles. This is a powerful and deeply flavoured Highland dram, perfect for fans of sherried single malts.
