About This Murray McDavid Whisky
Opened in 1960, Tormore Distillery quickly became an iconic Scotch whisky landmark, whose striking architecture is a perfect reflection of its stylish Speyside spirit. Murray McDavid have used their maturation approach to enrich this single malt and give it greater character.
Initially filled into standard hogsheads, they re-racked the whisky into two sherry casks – one used to produce dry, fruity Oloroso and the other rich, sweet PX Sherry. After three years, the casks were married to create a fantastic single malt with depth and complexity.
