About this Murray McDavid whisky
This Ardmore, from independent bottler Murray McDavid, was drawn from a single cask distilled in 2011. It was finished for almost 3 years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead before bottling in 2022 at 11 years old at cask strength. After those three years in a fresh oloroso sherry hogshead, the fruits and spice from the European oak have integrated beautifully with this peated Highland whisky, producing wonderful depth and sophisticated character.
