About this MacTalla whisky

Mac-Talla Flavourscapes is the first in a series of Limited Edition Releases from Mac-Talla. In this series, Mac-Talla is collaborating with an artist to create a visual landscape based on the flavours of  Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Marzia Sileno is well-known in the whisky industry as a former tastings manager at Milroy’s of Soho. She is also a talented artist and her works caught our attention. For the past few months, the team at Mac-Talla has worked with Marzia on the creation of two Limited Editions, exclusive to the UK. Each artwork translates the flavour profile of the liquid into a beautiful image. It captures the essence of the whisky’s personality on canvas.

For the first release, there are two whiskies. The first is called Fluran, which is Scots Gaelic for 'blossom'. The second is Fogharach, Gaelic for 'autumnal, related to autumn harvest’. The two expressions are very different in style, which is why Mac-Talla decided to release them side-by-side for the first release.
