About this Lady of The Glen whisky
The coastal location of this distillery adds a freshness to its waxy and nutty whisky. Matured in a bourbon hogshead before being finished for over 3 years in a first fill Hidalgo cooperage ex-Oloroso cask by Lady Of The Glen.
This coastal Speysider is known for its important role in many of Diageo’s blended whiskies. This release has spent more than 3 years in one of Lady Of the Glen's now famous oloroso casks sourced from Hidalgo cooperage in Spain. The cask has offered the whisky a softer side of ex-sherry with more of a toffee and caramel character rather than the expected Christmas cake and dried fruit notes.
