Glenlossie 10 Year Old Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale chardonnay.

Nose: A surprisingly floral nose mixes comfortably with heather honey. The classic yet demure vanilla associated with bourbon cask maturation.

Palate: A delicate tingle of white pepper, but no indication of the 56.3% alcohol that is in this incredibly soft dram. That heather flower and honey is still there in abundance though. A great summer session dram.

Finish: Long, rolling and smooth finish of all that we have enjoyed but with an explosion of warming white pepper but holding strong to the floral flavour that has been there from the get go!

Dràm Mòr Glenlossie 10 Year Old is a bright, elegant Speyside single malt that beautifully captures the distillery’s signature floral delicacy. Distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 from a bourbon hogshead at cask strength (56.3%), it’s presented in its purest form, natural colour and non-chill filtered, with only 255 bottles released.

Glenlossie is often described as one of Speyside’s most refined producers, known for its light, fragrant spirit that’s full of charm and balance. It’s a whisky prized by blenders for its finesse, but rarely seen as a single malt which makes this release from Dràm Mòr a genuine treat. The bourbon cask enhances the spirit’s natural sweetness and texture, bringing creamy vanilla and gentle spice without overpowering its floral core.

On the nose, soft heather honey and wildflowers mingle with classic bourbon vanilla. The palate opens with a delicate pepper warmth, followed by waves of honey, heather, and gentle sweetness; remarkably smooth for its strength. The finish is long and graceful, combining lingering floral notes with a gentle burst of warming white pepper.

A superb example of how subtlety and structure can coexist: light, floral, and endlessly drinkable. Perfect for a summer evening dram.

How much is shipping?

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout, depending on where you live and how many bottles you’re buying. It's usually more cost effective to ship two or more bottles, particularly for international orders. The perfect excuse to treat yourself to an extra bottle!

What about taxes?

All alcoholic products sold by TopWhiskies are sold subject to UK alcohol tax, which is already included in the price.

UK sales are subject to VAT (currently 20%), which is included in the price. Sales outside of the UK are not subject to this tax, and international prices do not include it.

We use a specialist US shipper who sorts out US taxes. These costs are factored into the US shipping charges. So shipping may look pricey, but remember it covers your taxes as well, so there'll be no further bills to pay. US Customs takes two to three weeks to complete, after which your parcel will arrive at your door as if it were a normal delivery.

For all other territories, including those in Europe, please note: your order could be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in the destination country. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, TopWhiskies has no control over these charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay any import duties and taxes, this could result in the goods being destroyed by customs or being returned back to us - any refund offered would include a deduction of our costs.

Which couriers do you use?

In the UK we use Royal Mail, Parcelforce and APC. US orders are sent via UPS. International orders use FedEx and DHL. Orders are despatched from our UK warehouse Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

Carbon neutral?

Yes, all our deliveries are carbon neutral. We work with Planet to estimate the carbon impact of each delivery, and then purchase carbon removal credits to offset the emissions.

Viktorija and Kenny MacDonald

Viktorija was the first female independent bottler to start her business from scratch. In 2013 she founded a company, which started as an export agency helping independent family-owned Scottish distilleries to tap into international markets. Viktorija has a wide background in whisky. She worked on-trade in Oran Mor whisky bar in Glasgow. Then she moved onto working in retail at the Good Spirits Co, where she specialised in whisky.

Having whisky at heart stemming from his Grandfather Alex, who for many years served as head foreman at Dumbarton Distillery, Kenny has spent the last decade representing some of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries at whisky festivals around the world. Today Kenny brings a massive wealth of experience to his own brand putting the name of Dràm Mòr to the forefront of whisky enthusiast’s minds with the perfect blend of education and entertainment as he weaves an incredible knack for storytelling with an undying passion for whisky.
