Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Quite fresh and open, yet calm with an underlying candied vanilla.

Palate: Sweet vanilla carries through to combine beautifully with a deep charred oak. Old school boiled sweets, a touch of heather flower, ash, and white pepper.

Finish: Medium and beautifully balanced.

Dràm Mòr Dailuaine 12 Year Old is a beautifully balanced Speyside single malt, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025 from a first fill bourbon barrel at cask strength (55.7%), with natural colour and no chill filtration. Limited to just 244 bottles, it perfectly captures the robust yet refined nature of Dailuaine spirit.

The Dailuaine Distillery, nestled in the heart of Speyside, is often praised by blenders for its rich, full-bodied character - a whisky that brings depth and structure to any blend. As a single malt, it’s a rare treat, offering a glimpse into the distillery’s quietly powerful style. Maturation in a first fill bourbon barrel enhances those classic Dailuaine notes of vanilla, spice, and gentle smoke, creating a dram that feels both familiar and distinctive.

On the nose, it’s fresh and inviting, with gentle vanilla sweetness and a calm, honeyed undertone. The palate reveals a delightful interplay of charred oak, boiled sweets, and soft heather, balanced by hints of ash and white pepper. How much is shipping?

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout, depending on where you live and how many bottles you’re buying. It's usually more cost effective to ship two or more bottles, particularly for international orders. The perfect excuse to treat yourself to an extra bottle!

What about taxes?

All alcoholic products sold by TopWhiskies are sold subject to UK alcohol tax, which is already included in the price.

UK sales are subject to VAT (currently 20%), which is included in the price. Sales outside of the UK are not subject to this tax, and international prices do not include it.

We use a specialist US shipper who sorts out US taxes. These costs are factored into the US shipping charges. So shipping may look pricey, but remember it covers your taxes as well, so there'll be no further bills to pay. US Customs takes two to three weeks to complete, after which your parcel will arrive at your door as if it were a normal delivery.

For all other territories, including those in Europe, please note: your order could be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in the destination country. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, TopWhiskies has no control over these charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay any import duties and taxes, this could result in the goods being destroyed by customs or being returned back to us - any refund offered would include a deduction of our costs.

Which couriers do you use?

In the UK we use Royal Mail, Parcelforce and APC. US orders are sent via UPS. International orders use FedEx and DHL. Orders are despatched from our UK warehouse Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

Carbon neutral?

Yes, all our deliveries are carbon neutral. We work with Planet to estimate the carbon impact of each delivery, and then purchase carbon removal credits to offset the emissions.

Meet The Founders

Viktorija and Kenny MacDonald

Viktorija was the first female independent bottler to start her business from scratch. In 2013 she founded a company, which started as an export agency helping independent family-owned Scottish distilleries to tap into international markets. Viktorija has a wide background in whisky. She worked on-trade in Oran Mor whisky bar in Glasgow. Then she moved onto working in retail at the Good Spirits Co, where she specialised in whisky.

Having whisky at heart stemming from his Grandfather Alex, who for many years served as head foreman at Dumbarton Distillery, Kenny has spent the last decade representing some of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries at whisky festivals around the world. Today Kenny brings a massive wealth of experience to his own brand putting the name of Dràm Mòr to the forefront of whisky enthusiast’s minds with the perfect blend of education and entertainment as he weaves an incredible knack for storytelling with an undying passion for whisky.
