About Chapter 7 Monologue Miltonduff 21 Year Old
Robert Bain and Andrew Peary founded The Miltonduff whisky distillery in 1824. It has quite the history. The barley rich pastures once played host to as many as fifty illicit stills during the 1800s. The site was once the meal mill of Pluscarden Abbey.
Miltonduff is an important contributor to the famous Ballantine's blend. In July 2017, Miltonduff released a 15-year-old single malt under the Ballantine’s brand. This whisky introduced more scotch lovers to Miltonduff.
Miltonduff has been a secret of the whisky industry, but we've known it for a long time. Our first release in 2015 was a sherry butt Miltonduff that we bottled at 65.1% ABV. This amazing dram impressed many sherried whisky lovers and won a silver medal at C2C Cup in Germany. Now it's time for a mature bourbon hogshead. This is a 21 year old whisky. It's something unique and delectable.
