About this Chapter 7 whisky
Created as a celebration of Chapter 7’s journey between 2022 and 2025, this remarkable Infinity Cask release is both a retrospective and a statement of intent. Rather than focusing on a single distillery or cask, it brings together the whiskies Chapter 7 bottled during those formative years, layered carefully into one evolving blend.
In total, 77 different whiskies were married into this cask, spanning ages from 10 to 33 years and drawing on malts from some of Scotland’s most iconic distilleries. Each component was selected not just for quality, but for how it contributes to the whole - building depth, contrast, and harmony over time. As with all true infinity casks, the result is entirely unrepeatable.
Bottled in October 2025 at 48% ABV, this release is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, allowing the character of the whisky to remain fully intact. With an outturn of just 179 bottles, it stands as one of the most personal and limited bottlings Chapter 7 has produced.
On the nose, it opens as a mosaic of aromas: sweet malt, gentle sherry richness, soft smoke, and fresh orchard fruit weaving together seamlessly. The palate is layered and constantly evolving, revealing vanilla, dried fruits, maritime peat, honey, and subtle spice, each sip offering a slightly different balance as the components reveal themselves. The finish is harmonious and composed, lingering as a tapestry of flavours that reflects the diversity of its origins.
This is a whisky that rewards time and attention: a liquid snapshot of Chapter 7’s philosophy and progression, and a fitting tribute to the releases that shaped their early years. A true collector’s piece, but one that remains deeply drinkable and thoughtfully composed.
