Ardent Spirits Invergordon 18 Year Old is a bold and characterful single grain whisky from the Highlands’ northernmost grain distillery. Distilled in 2005 and bottled at 50% ABV, this release captures everything that makes Invergordon so distinctive: weight, depth, and a sweetness that builds with every sip. Bottled with natural colour and no chill filtration, only 200 bottles were produced.
Invergordon Distillery, situated on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, has long been known for producing some of Scotland’s most robust grain spirit - heavy-bodied and full of texture, ideal for long maturation. This 18-year-old expression is no exception: it’s a powerhouse of flavour, rich and generous while maintaining balance and drinkability.
On the nose, layers of caramel, vanilla fudge, and toasted oak set the tone. The palate delivers a full-bodied wave of sweetness with brown sugar, golden syrup, and creamy toffee, all carried by that unmistakably weighty Invergordon texture. The finish lingers with soft oak spice and warming sweetness.
