About this MacTalla whisky
A tribute to Islay’s powerful peat, elevated by the opulent richness of Amarone wine. MacTalla have released this limited edition as an official 'Friends of Feis' bottling. This expression was finished for 24 months in two first-fill Amarone casks, bringing together Islay's smoky intensity and Amarone's dark fruit depth. Amarone wines deliver deep cherry and chocolate tones - qualities that perfectly complement the bold profile of Islay single malt.
