Nc'nean Quiet Rebel: Annabel Tasting Notes

A perfumed whisky, with notes of floral almond biscotti, desiccated coconut and tropical fruits.

About this whisky

This is the first seasonal release from Nc'nean's new series of whiskies, Quiet Rebels. The series is all about the people who make Nc’nean what it is. They are a small team of eco-conscious drinks fanatics. And, they're on a mission to bring together a new generation of Scotch drinkers.

They may be a small distillery, but it is a big job. They want to pioneer sustainable production while creating innovative and delicious spirits. Nc'nean are kicking things off with their very own queen of spirits Annabel Thomas. Read more about Annabel, founder of Nc'nean, here.

A year after releasing Nc'nean's first whisky, Annabel wanted to create a single malt to show their early flavour experiments. She's picked a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Tokaji barrels, a Hungarian wine cask which adds a sweet and velvety texture.
