About Càrn Mòr's Teaninich 2013

Official Tasting Notes: Red berries covered in butterscotch sweetness and drying towards the end.

Ed and Evan's Thoughts

So this dram is somewhat unusual on two fronts. First, Teaninich is not a distillery name you'll see often; in fact, it's rather rare. So being able to try a limited edition, small outturn, Teaninich is a bit of a treat. Second, red wine casks, while not unique, are certainly unusual - bourbon and sherry would certainly be more commonplace. So discovering the flavours the red wine cask lends to a whisky is again a treat. Combine Teaninich and Red Wine, and you get double the treat! Enjoy, Ed.
