About Chapter 7 Glen Elgin 13 Year Old
Glen Elgin started operating in 1900 and for half a century the distillery was run with paraffin, without electricity. It's located in Elgin and belongs Diageo, contributing most of its production predominantly to White Horse blend. 90 hours of fermentation and slow distillation gives a distinctive fruitiness to Glen Elgin. It's very popular with Independent bottlers. Chapter 7 Whisky wanted to try something different and finished the contents of a bourbon hogshead in 3 octave casks. In this bottling you will experience a unique blend of Oloroso and Ruby Port wood finishes.
