Whisky for Dry January
Ed decided to do Dry January? Why? Who knows. To get through the pains of a dry month, he took to the Guardian for inspiration. Why? Who knows? But in the food section, The Guardian said that the piney notes in Yorkshire Forager’s Wild, a Douglas Fir cocktail syrup, is more than passable substitute for Islay whisky. We decided it was worth giving it a try. We’ve had worse ideas, like when two girls convinced us to go skinning dipping in The River Thames. But we’ve also had better ideas like doing anything other than drinking a cocktail syrup neat.
